Molly is Angel and Tina's Newest Friend
Molly's
Story
Molly..................She is now 9 years old. We got her as a puppy as you can
see by the one photo. Her ears were huge, but she finally grew into them.
The photo with the winter coat, was just taken when we were in Nashville this Christmas and it was really cold. She
now has a lop ear.
She had a hematoma that the Vet had to operate on, and the ear will never straighten out, however, I don't think
she really cares anyway.
I give her a traditional haircut, short on top with a full skirt. This is our second Westie
and we can certainly recommend them highly
to anyone looking for a great companion. We moved up from Ft. Lauderdale about
4 years ago, to Ocala Fla. and Molly
really prefers the cooler climate. She still likes to go for walks and play ball
every chance she gets.

Our New Friends.....
THIS IS JACK'S STORY
We rescued Jack on Thanksgiving day 2008. My nephew found him wandering in a park, cold, dirty and scared. They
couldn't keep him because their two female Chihuahuas hated him and bullied this young Westie from day one. They knew
it wasn't a "love" match when Jack finally realized he was a Terrier and one day, lifted his leg and "peed" on both Chihuahuas while
they were sunning themselves in the patio. Now....they really hated him and a home was needed for him, IMMEDIATELY.
He's quite a character and has filled that void in our hearts due to the
loss of our beloved Golden, Autumn.
Last month we were awaken
by some noise at 2:30 a.m. Jack kept running from the corner of our bedroom to us, over and over again with this big
grin on his face. When my husband went to check out the corner, he discovered a live juvenile possum weighing about 8 lbs.
Apparently Jack had dragged it though the doggie door, through our living room, up the flight of stairs and hid it in our
bedroom as a gift for us. Well, just picture me on my laptop trying to Google a solution. Thom had the presence of mind to take a broom and gently swept the possum into Jack's crate. I
discovered Thom at our front door ready to walk the possum in the crate, down the street, to release it. He must have been
either really tired or distracted because he was still in his "shorts" (underwear). What a sight.
Such is the story of our wonderful Jack. See attached file for a picture of
this bundle of love.

THIS IS BUDDY'S STORY

Buddy is Angelia's first Westie. Buddy is a five year old neutered male. Angelia adopted Buddy
in November 2006 and saved him from being euthanasized. He was at a local animal control for three weeks before Angelia rescued
him. He was scheduled to be euthanasized the next day. We at the Westie Place would like to thank Angelia for saving this
little guy.

This is Mitzi.....Mitzi is Angel and Tina's newest friend.
Mitzi
is a female Westie who will be 8 years old this coming October. My family have cared for her since she was around 3 months
old. Mitzi certainly is a funny little dog, she always likes to be the centre of attention and she has a built in clock especially
when it’s time for a walk! As with most Westies she certainly has powerful lungs and boy does she like
to bark... especially at the postwoman!

Here is the story of how he came to be a part
of our family. In the September of 2007 my husband said he had a surprise for me and my son. And he brought this
dog home. He was about 7 months old. He was so cute. He knew I had been wanting a dog about the size of a Westie with that
type of fur. I am allergic to certain types of dogs and I know I can handle a Westie's fur. My mom has a terrier that
is something like Toto from the Wizard of Oz and her fur does not bother me either.

Maddie's Backyard was inspired by a spunky West Highland White
Terrier, Madison Jane! Nearly two years old, Maddie deserves only the finest clothing, accessories and cookies - straight
